Ingredients

- 1/2 cup (45g) rolled oats
- 1 cup (240ml) water or unsweetened almond milk
- 1 scoop (30g) vanilla whey protein powder
- 1/2 medium apple, diced
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp ground flaxseed
Method
- Combine oats, liquid, diced apple, and cinnamon in a pot and bring to a simmer.
- Cook 4-5 min, stirring, until oats are creamy.
- Remove from heat and let cool 1 min, then stir in protein powder until smooth (adding off heat keeps it from clumping).
- Top with maple syrup and flaxseed.
